9th October 2005 Windsurfing: Bala Wind Direction: SSW-SW Wind Stength: 15-25knts Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: 13C Sea Temperature: 10C Weather: Sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: Went for an afternoon session at Bala, set off at 11.30 and was on the water for 1.30pm. Started off on the Flow and 6.4m, made my first gybe dry but was well over powered, so came in for the 5.0m and 90l wave board which I'd already rigged. Had a few good good runs well powered up and made my first gybe on my wave board (woohoo). The wind dropped off a bit due to being too SSW so was blocked by the hills so I came back in for the Flow but put the 5.0m rig on it. Spent a while reaching back and forth in front of the rigging area until the wind shifted to SW again and then had a few really good runs before it was time to pack up. Good practice again. |
